Mrs. Black
Your perfect HP man is Sirius Black.

You want a relationship filled with fun times, with a guy who you know will always back you up. Sure, he's a bit of a jerk with anyone who he doesn't approve of, but as long as he likes you, he'll be a lot of fun. Your days will be filled with laughter and merriment, though if you ever have kids, you'd better be prepared to lay some rules down or else they'll end up with a bunch of reckless rule breakers running around, transforming into animals at every turn.

I still like the Battle-Cry...
Squeeeeeeee!
Okay, so I got hooked on this artist long ago, and have slowly been bringing my friends to the dark side. When I got an email on Tuesday that Angie Aparo would be in town last night, I was on a mission! Thankfully, there were several folks who wanted to go, but honestly, I would have stood there all by myself to bask in the vocal stylings of Mr Aparo! It was, however, more fun with friends and their antics (or urging my antics). Thanks to you guys & gals for indulging me!
There were shenanigans during the show, some of which I took part in (very proud of myself BTW for being brave in several areas last night). Angie really is a one man musical comedy show. Well, that is, he plays great music and has the side bonus of being terribly funny, NOT comical singing. His opener was none other than the vocalist for Colourslide, Alex Lawhon, in an acoustic set that we also had the pleasure to catch before Dino Drinking a few weeks before. Alex's set last evening was fantastic as well and I think a good time was had by all!

Now, if only I could figure out how to dump them onto an MP3 player to take with me to Pennsic (I don't have an ipod yet)...hmmmmm

I am so glad I went, it was just the thing to de-stress me from my life. I had a FANTASTIC time and was a little sad to come home. There is so much I want to do and can't wait to go back.

Yep, yep, that would be me.
My nose it a nice shiny red to rival Rudolph on his best day, but no fever (thank goodness). Luckily, my favorite Ginger Drink (compliments of the Fantabulous Asian Market in Cary (TM)) is really good for people with colds. I am being a good girl and taking my Echinacea & Goldenseal tablets every day, drinking my hot drinks, eating chicken noodle soup and applesauce (not together), and dosing my DayQuil, so I am BOUND to be feeling better soon.
Guess I should stop burning my candle from the ends AND the middle, huh?

If you haven't heard them before, they are so much fun, and you can't help but move to the rhythm. I heard them for the first time this weekend at the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games and I am hooked!!!

Your result for Which Chess Piece are You Test?...
The Queen's Bishop
Congrats! Only 3-5% of the population score this!

The Queen’s Bishop has charisma and social knowledge. It is this that draws so many under their ‘tutelage’. The Queen’s Bishop is a teacher and has the phenomenal interpersonal skill that sells them to others. It isn’t that they attempt to manipulate others – rather they really believe their dreams and see themselves as helpers. They usually are.
This Bishop is a global learner. They like to see the big picture. They are adept at juggling responsibilities and projects. This isn’t to say they are naturally organized, rather they are organized with people in mind. The conclusions they draw from others and their motives are drawn quickly. This Bishop knows people and appreciates them. They however have a problem with forgetting themselves and their own needs because they will frequently vouch for others. If people are too gruff or critical, these people are hurt and abused. Sensitivity must be used around the Queen’s Bishop because they burden themselves the most.
If anyone comes knocking with problems, they will drop their duties – regardless of the circumstance. If someone happens to call, they will answer it and take care of that conversation putting the first person on hold. If a quick question is posed by yet another – they will attend to that. They are honestly open to helping others – that is why it is hard to gain their undivided attention. Everyone knows this and tends to ask for a bit of time from them. Ever heard of the “Open Door” Policy?
